Through our community-driven organization, we want to make an impact on how to better structure their small businesses by providing them with the guidance, advocacy, and representation they need.
Our mission is to bring awareness about the struggles that street vendors all over the country face daily and to connect them to a much larger customer base through our app so that their businesses can grow at a higher rate while providing a different service to a separate group of people who want better access to what these street vendors are selling.
Our Vision
Our vision is to empower individuals and communities with a platform where we can support vendors by connecting them to a customer base that typically would not come into contact with these vendors. Our Migente! street food vendor app is the bridge that connects a group of hungry people looking for delicious street food when they want it, how they want it, and as much as they want it. Our mission is to create a more connected world for street vendors where they can run their businesses with the support of the community they serve and, with our help can thrive by putting their focus on growing their businesses and expanding to the next logical step which is getting off the streets and moving to an established location like a restaurant or a food hall where they can continue to thrive.
Our Values
We created the Migente! street food vendor app knowing that mi gente translates to “Mi Gente” or “My People” a term often used to describe a community. So who is “Migente!”? Migente! street food vendor app was born out of a desire to represent and encourage this group of people who get up daily to work on the streets to support their families, often by selling food, flowers, fruit, and snacks.
Migente is a term to describe a group of people that aside from the long hard hours and the hard conditions of their environment are confronted with difficult situations that come with selling on the streets like having to find a proper place to set up their stands which is harder than one might think, they often deal with harassment and more serious matters, like their safety which puts a strain in their daily lives and the way they can run their services. Yet they choose to be productive citizens who contribute to society by making our food scene more vibrant and alive!
Migente! street food vendor app is an app that serves this group of people who deserve a more effective way to serve their communities without having to worry about their safety. Through our app, we hope to solve those problems so they can focus on other things like the quality of their products, and city and state regulations.
About the Founder
We know the struggles that come with running a business from the streets but we have also seen the rewards that can come with the hard work, effort, and persistence that can come with running a small business from streets, it can lead to bigger and better things.
Inspired by our own upbringing and our family business we have developed an app with a system that will help street vendors become better equipped with all the necessary tools that they need to tackle some of the issues that come with working from the streets so that they can scale faster than my family did. With the help of the Migente! street food vendor app vendors can feel more supported and more guided. Our app can serve as a helping hand to a community that often feels neglected and unseen by society.
